This vase-shaped variety of American Elm grows quickly into an elegant, vase-shaped specimen quickly reaching 70 feet tall with a 50 foot spread. Bearing handsome, lush foliage on strong, upright branches- vibrance abounds in fall with stunning yellow leaves. Inconspicuous green flowers bloom in spring before foliage emerges. This variety has shown great resistance to Dutch Elm Disease. Thrives in average to medium moisture, well drained soil in full sun. Tolerates drought, air pollution, and black walnuts. Grand when used as a lawn, shade, or street tree, or in a rain garden!
