Watnong Green, a cultivar of the Western Red Cedar, is a broad, fast-growing pyramid, 20-25ft high. Superb bright green color year round, tipped with bronze in the winter, the foliage is a little sturdier than the species, but overall has a graceful, fine texture. This is a favorite. Give it deep, well-drained soil, and water regularly- at least until established. Watnong grows well in full sun, but tolerates light shade.
